Make it happy

Make it happen is manager’s job. Make it happy too.

As an athlete, you can train your brain to switch from suffering to pleasure.

The border between happy work and happy life is thin, if any. The door of entry into life coaching and professional coaching is obviously different. But the process is the same, whether you look at reactivity towards say money or food, relations with partner or colleague, or interactions within groups.

Moreover there is a direct link between a happy leader & a happy person at home.

Micro-victories and progressive growth in spiral stimulate neurobiological mediators like dopamine and serotonin, the hormones of pleasure & happiness.

At some point, Happiness at work or Happiness at home becomes a matter of decision and of step-by-step training, once you have recognized your core.

Prevalence of Bore-out syndrome is much higher than we may think. Managers can suffer professional exhaustion… from lack of activity, lack of movement, absence of satisfaction, excessive routine or lack of meaning at work. And the psychological burden becomes disastrous as bore-out is perceived as not socially-correct at all. Shame is attached to the syndrome which creates very difficult situations to live for the manager and the team around. In current society, social identity unfortunately builds mostly on professional activity.

Of course, no one can make another person happy.

However, teams and colleagues collectively can prevent together syndromes of bore out, burn out, absenteeism, de-motivation.

We believe teams and individuals have an important responsibility to (co-)create ‘motivation’ or happiness around them.

It is however organizations’ role to create the culture and the environment for that & give people the chance to flourish and grow, if they want the organization to grow.
