I believe Leadership gets revealed, not taught. Somehow, leadership is an inner game. Managers do not become Leaders through cognitive Learning or management theories. It helps, however I believe true Leadership demonstrates when your inner truth unfolds.
Top leaders don’t stick to a recipe book in order to become successful. Hersey & Blanchard long ago described leadership styles travelling from directive to participative or delegative types. Today organizations and society step into collaborative economy, collaborative transition, or ‘liberated freedom enterprise’.
In any case, we believe leaders must deal with paradoxes of time, complexity and, above all, personal recognition and consideration towards team members. Leadership with colleagues builds over time…whereas results may be expected in the short run. In complex situations, leaders need to clarify & simplify for the team. Recent studies reveal ‘individual consideration’ is n°1 on the list of what’s necessary to fill the deficit in leadership performance. Even before the sense of collective achievement, integrity or charisma.
In leadership coaching, I’m interested in exploring with you your leadership DNA, your leadership genotype. The “program” indeed is factory-installed and it will naturally express outwards one way or another. Awakening your Instinctual Leadership allows leaders’ sustainable excellence.
